For the 95th Annual Academy Awards I got to make the nominee cards presented for each acting category. The Academy wanted to use Futura to remain within their branding but had asked to elevate the treatment of the IDs. I did so through a soft gold gradient and bevel on the type as well as a light sweep timed to the reading of the names. Watching the show live, it felt really nice making a small contribution to a moment these nominees will remember for the rest of their careers.
